Cellphone Policy

WHS encourages students who need to use a phone during the school day to obtain permission and use the telephone in the school's main office. No student shall use, possess, or operate any electronic device, including a cell phone or “Smart” device at school or in any school bus. Students who inadvertently bring cell phones to school are required to voluntarily submit them to Welsh High School's main office upon arriving at school. Students who submit their telecommunications devices to the main office shall have them returned at the end of the school day. A violation of these provisions shall be grounds for disciplinary action, including but not limited to, suspension from school. All assistance and encouragement that you give your child and the school is appreciated.
