WHS is a special place. We are competitive, compassionate, supportive, hardworking, and proud. Our rich school culture is a reflection of the students, the faculty, the community, and our tremendous SPS score.
The attitude of our faculty, students, and citizens is, "If there is something going on, we want to be a part of it." It is that spirit that makes Welsh and the surrounding communities special places.
I tell incoming freshmen, “If you are approaching high school with a student vs. teacher mentality, you are doing high school wrong. It’s all of us together vs. what is waiting for you once you get your diploma.”
